Information we collect

• Account and authentication: email address, optional display name, and authentication events via one-time passcodes (OTP) and optionally Google sign-in. We do not store your Google password.
• Content you upload: input videos and generated outputs. We process this content only to provide the Service and delete it on a schedule described below.
• Payments and balances: we receive purchase and balance information via our payment provider (Polar). We do not store full payment instrument details on our servers.
• Usage and analytics: limited usage and device information to improve the Service (e.g., events and performance) via PostHog.
• Logs and security: server logs and technical information for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

How we use information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Process your uploads and produce outputs you request.
• Handle payments, balances, and invoices via Polar.
• Secure the Service, prevent fraud/abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
• Improve the Service and user experience (analytics via PostHog).
• Communicate with you about the Service (e.g., OTP, notices).

We do not train AI models on your uploads. Your content is used solely to provide the Service you request.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

• Contract: to provide the Service you request.
• Legitimate interests: security, debugging, and product improvement.
• Consent (where required): optional analytics and communications.

Sharing and processors

We share information with trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, only as needed to operate the Service:

• Cloudflare R2 (US region) for object storage of uploads/outputs.
• RunPod for AI inference and video processing.
• Polar for payments and balance management.
• Postmark for transactional email delivery (e.g., OTP, notices).
• PostHog for product analytics.
• Google (optional One Tap) for social sign-in, if you choose to use it.
• DigitalOcean for hosting infrastructure.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or the rights and safety of others.

International transfers

We may transfer personal data to countries outside your own (including the United States) where our processors operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual protections) to protect your information.

Retention

• Uploads and outputs: automatically deleted 24 hours after creation. Download your files before they expire.
• Job metadata and logs: retained up to 30 days.
• Payment records: retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal obligations, which may exceed the periods above.

Cookies and tracking

• Strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session.
• Analytics cookies and similar technologies via PostHog to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service. You can opt out by enabling your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting or contacting us at [email protected].

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

• EEA/UK: rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
• California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information. You may contact us to exercise these rights.

Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16. If you believe we have collected information about a child under 16, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, least privilege, and periodic security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and adjust the effective date. Material changes may be communicated via the Service or email.
